Description

Ho, travelers! It seems you've been accosted by bandits along this forest road! What do you mean this is a swamp? Ah, it seems the gods have been lazy with their world once again. Luckily, I have just the solution for you in my shop...

My mapping machine is meant as a quick-and-dirty natural environment generator for tabletop games. If you've ever found yourself going, "I'd like to have some trees, but I don't want to spend time placing them randomly," or perhaps, "Wouldn't this fight be more interesting if the road had the occasional ditch?" then this generator is for you. Using the esoteric lore contained in the D&D 3.5 System Reference Document as a base, my creation can produce forests, plains, deserts, swamps, hills, and mountains for use in any tabletop game system. Simply enter the dimensions of your map, select your type of environment, and within mere moments of pressing the Generate button, you'll have an array of colorful tiles to look at and inspire a map. (But, please don't push too hard; it may not like numbers above 500.)

Is there something missing? A feature you'd like added or a perhaps a color that's hard to distinguish? Leave a comment, and let me know! I built this tool for myself as much as anything, but I want it to be useful to as many people as possible.
