A Certain Set of Case Files

The Blessed City of the Five is supposed to be a shining beacon of all that is good in the world, but a beacon that bright casts a deep shadow. To find the truth about herself and her city, Marielle d'Paradise must join forces with veteran detective Joseph Kurr. Will she bring light to the world's darkest corners, or will she drown in those secret depths?

A Certain Detective's Case Files is a work of interactive fiction. At various points throughout the story, you will see text in different colors. Blue text must be clicked on to advance the story. If there is more than one phrase in Blue, it is a decision which will shape how Marielle (the protagonist) acts. Red text can be optionally clicked on for more information about the setting, characters, or other such things that don't fit neatly into the flow of the story. You can choose to learn as much or as little about the world as you like.
