Last Week

    A little after nine, the phone rang and I answered it. I had a repeat of the conversation with my girlfriend from last Sunday. After I hung up the phone, I had to admit that it would be too strange of an event for me to have had a premonition about my girlfriend dumping me from a dream in which I’d had that same premonition. The only conclusion I could come up with was that I had experienced all this before. Around ten thirty, there was a knock on the door, and I found a girl with long blonde-hair with a bow in it and greyish eyes standing on the step.

    Before she could say anything, I pulled her inside and said, “Right on schedule, Veronica. It's time for you to explain some things.”
